This fully air-tight cell kit is designed for low-temperature three-electrode EC measurements with sample volumes of 5–10 mL. The system is configured to address common challenges associated with low-temperature EC experiments, including temperature-dependent reference electrode potential shifts, increased solution resistance, and moisture condensation.

The cell accommodates a reference electrode housed in a double-junction chamber using a custom sample holder. Microelectrodes may be used to enable reliable measurements in high-resistivity solutions. The airtight design supports oxygen-free operation by allowing nitrogen purging to eliminate dissolved oxygen, making the cell suitable for electrochemical measurements under controlled, low-temperature conditions.

Kit includes the following:
- 24 ml Non-Jacketed Vials (Qty. 3)
- Teflon Cap for Low-Temp 5-10 mL Air-tight EC Cells
- Platinum Counter Electrode – Length 5.7 cm
- Purging tube - Length 50 cm (Qty. 2)
- Outer junction sample holder for reference electrodes (Qty. 2)
- Custom o-ring

0.1 M Tetrabutylammonium Perchlorate:

0.1 M Tetrabutylammonium Perchlorate, using Glassy carbon electrode (OD: 6 mm, ID: 1 mm) and RE-7 Non Aqueous reference electrode, with a scan rate of 100 mV/s.

0.01 M Tetrabutylammonium Perchlorate:

0.001 M Tetrabutylammonium Perchlorate, using MPTE Micro Platinum electrode (OD: 4 mm, ID: 10 µm) and RE-7 Non Aqueous reference electrode, with a scan rate of 50 mV/s.
